The Saharan overshirt (in this case) was created for the British military of the Commonwealth who traveled to arid and desert countries, with a double function: to allow them to go unnoticed as well as to provide the garment with adequate lightness and practicality when moving through rough terrain. with prominent deserts and abundant sandstorms.
At Old Jeffrey we wanted to recover this garment that we see as so suitable for the Spanish summer... We have made our safari jacket in Spain, specifically in Consuegra (Toledo), with 100% linen from the Italian supplier Canclini.
Among the main design features, its four pockets stand out, as well as its horn buttons with a larger regular diameter. Other design features of the shirt are the spread collar, flat back, and single cuff.
